Melbourne producer Connor Mac's ‘Flow Process' EP was a label highlight of 2022. Late Night Music now presents a re- mix package featuring three re-imaginings of the iconic progressive house tunes.

Imran Khan takes the title track deep and hypnotic for his warm but minimal take of ‘Flow Process', while label heads Kazuki & Beetham provide a visceral peak-time vision on their ‘Transcendent' mix. UK producer Ranj Kaler returns to the label, adding depth and melodic finesse to his deep progressive breaks mix of ‘Sunbather'.

Late Night Music welcomes UK producer Blanka Barbara with her first single on the label - 'Arcane Rites'. Characterised bya hypnotic melody and arpeggiated synths, this progressive house ritual builds an infectious groove to a climatic break- down.

 

Label favourite Wolfframm's signature sound shines through on his atmospheric breaks mix of the track, while fellow Aussie producers James Beetham & Leah Marie team up for a spaced out, grittier club version. Australian producer Kazuki rounds off the release with a driving trancesque interpreta- tion for his 'Invocation to Saturn' mix.

Late Night Music is proud to present its second Astral VA EP - a compilation of four tracks from across the spectrum of progressive house.

​

Australian producer FRAIS opens the EP with his progressive tune 'High Tides', a track with expansive lush synths and bass groove. Partenaire from Argentina follows up with a massive breakbeat track, full of atmosphere and bittersweet emotion with ‘Under the Pink Lights’.

​

Melbourne Australia, newcomer MALIKA (AU) adds a darker edge to the compilation with his track ‘Forbidden Fruit' featuring driving trance synths and percussion, while UK prouder Ben Summers closes the EP with ‘Falling’, a euphoric house track carried forward

with a soulful vocal sample, piano, and breakbeat percussion.

LNM042 | 'SOLAR FLARE' by NILA + remixes

9th May 2023

Late Night Music is proud to bring New Zealand producer Nila into the fold with his debut release on the imprint - 'Solar Flare'. The EP features three dark and driving progressive house originals, along with remixes from Diego Moreira and Waxman.

 

The title track opens the EP, building with rising arpeggiated synths and underpinned by bass growls. The techno-edged 'Interpolation of Self' follows, with Argentina's Diego Moreira adding a haunting darkness to its uneasy melodies. The EP closes with the hypnotic 'Escape' - a true headcaver of a progressive house track - while Canadian producer Waxman resolves the EP with a melodic finale on the remix.

LNM041 | 'APHELION | REMIXES' by MIND TOURIST

Melbourne producer Mind Tourist's 'Aphelion' has been given the remix treatment for LNM041, with two dynamic re-interpretations of the progressive house EP. 

 

Fellow Australian producer Kazuki has crafted a chunky, driving progressive breaks remix featuring distorted radio echo samples for 'Paradox', while American based Orticaan adds cinematic lush melodic bell synths and deep grooves to a straight ahead progressive version of 'Aphelion'.

Late Night Music welcomes back Sri Lankan producer Fazlen for his second EP with the label - 'Mountains' - featuring two otherworldly progressive house tracks.

​

The title track opens with a straight-ahead but hypnotic groove underpinned by a modulated acid sound, while 'Rain & Train' takes a dark journey through melancholic tones and a mystical atmosphere.

LNM039 | 'LOST CORNERS' by WAXMAN

We welcome Canadian artist Waxman to the Late Night Music family with his EP ‘Lost Corners’.

Currently residing in Melbourne Australia, Waxman has crafted two deep and melodic progressive house tracks, perfect for those outdoor daytime sets.

​

Hypnotic and driving, the title track ‘Lost Corners’ builds on lush rising pads and an underlying groove, while ‘Seaspray’ features euphoric piano chords and evolving arpeggiated synths.

Last year's 'Alley of Protons' was our second artist EP from Russian producer Ewan Rill. Late Night Music is proud to present two beautifully crafted remixes from Liam Sieker and Marway.

​

Australia's Liam Sieker takes a relaxed approach to the title track with some dub-tinged smooth progressive house. We also welcome Argentinian producer Marway to the label with his spacey mix of 'Flowing Happiness', filled with groove and pensive synth elements.

LNM037 | 'STOCK CYCLE' BY CASPER & EWAN RILL + remixes

In our first artist release for 2023, Late Night Music welcomes back Ewan Rill who has teamed up with Casper for 'Stock Cycle', a deep progressive cut which builds over an infectious groove and syncopated percussion.

​

On the remixes, Australian producer Wolfframm builds on recent success (includ- ing his last remix played on John 00 Flemings JOOF Radio) with a bittersweet melodic interpretation, while fellow Aussie James Beetham adds spaced out acid- dub textures and radio transmissions for his hypnotic 'Arrival Mix'.

Late Night Music presents our next compilation EP - 'Astral' - featuring four tracks from across the spectrum of progressive sounds.

​

First up, veteran Melbourne producer Steve May joins Bill Hunter to create 'Flight of the Kookaburra', taking an excursion into chunky breaks. Argentinian producer Maximiliano Flores follows up with deep lush melodies on his debut label release, 'Sea Vibes'. 

​

Brett Kelso's signature Australian bush prog sound shines through on 'Jabari', building on the massive success of his Mothership EP in 2022. And finally we welcome prolific UK producer Ranj Kaler - with releases on labels such as Capital Heaven and Stripped Recordings - who has crafted a hypnotic, disco-tinged progressive house number with 'Menace to Sobriety'.

Australian producer Brett Kelso's debut EP on Late Night Music - 'Mothership' - made waves globally back in April 2022, including support from Hernan Cattaneo on his 'Resident' radio show.

We're now proud to present two remixes of the title track from fellow Australians Wolfframm and Kazuki. Wolfframm takes his remix up a notch with an immersive progressive house version that builds to a climatic breakdown, while Kazuki's Close Encounters mix takes the tune to a deep and hypnotic tribal breaks version in 7/8 time.

​

Belarusian progressive house star Dmitry Molosh applies a darker techy edge to his remix of ‘Conjunction’, contrasting with the deep breaks interpretation of the tune from Australian artist Kazuki.

Melbourne progressive icon Jamie Stevens is on board for a remix of Distant Source, overlaying his signature sound to create a driving progressive mix. Melbourne producer B-tham’s remix of Fargone adding gravitas to the bassline and Kazuki takes Distant Source to an earthy groove and breakbeat mix. Tidy switches things up with his tight liquid drum and bass edit, brimming with nervous energy.

Late Night Music brings Melbourne-based producer Mønarch into the fold for our eighth release, with his EP A Night in the Wilderness, a cerebral journey of light and spacious beats.

Beginning with an ambient introduction on The Woods to set the scene, producer Dean Elliott soon moves into a reserved, deep progressive piece with Lunar Howling - exemplified by echoed bell percussion, soft piano and a wolf’s cry in the distance.

​

A cold wind opens the final track Fields, before quickly moving into a melancholic number characterised by swirling synths and a resonant bass – a big moment for any progressive journey DJ set.

Late Night Music is excited to welcome on board two prolific Australian artists, Robbie Lowe and Matt Rowan for release 007.

​

Matt and Robbie have teamed up to create a spacey but dynamic club track titled ‘Actual’, which alludes to a classic New York sound with a progressive twist. The tough percussion section and warm strings lay the foundations, before a subtle piano line closes off the tune.

Late Night Music greets Christopher Brooks & Anthony Huttley for our sixth release - two progressive deep tech producers from Australia. Wabi-sabi refers to the Japanese philosophy of ‘acceptance of transience and imperfection’, exemplifying the careful, mediative flavour of these five tracks.

​

The title track 'Wabi-sabi' shimmers with the gentle glisten of bright synths and filtered vocal echoes, accompanied by an infectious deep groove. 'Yuki' continues the reserved minimal atmosphere, coupled with a chunky bassline and delicate synth bells. The lush Balearic house 'Komorebi' rounds off the EP, concluding with subtle synthetic sounds that perfectly evoke the notion of ‘sunshine filtering through leaves’ – the English translation of its Japanese namesake.

‘Compound’ is Sydney techno aficionado and producer Andrew Wowk’s first track to be released on Late Night Music. A moody composition with chaotic filtered synth washes and minor chords, this minimal track is set to be at home in a dark techno basement club.

​

Canberra based producer Kazuki flips the switch with his remix of ‘Compound’, bringing in light to the shade with a hypnotic acid lead, a lush synth pad and driving bassline, reminiscent of an older progressive house sound.

Four artists unite in a defining moment for a new Australian label. Featuring James Beetham (formally B-tham), Kazuki, Fourthstate, & Gabriel Gilmour. â€˜Trajectory’ is the first release on Late Night Music and it's a statement of things to come on a journey that has only just begun.

​

‘Thanks Atum’ is a return to producer B-tham’s roots as an artist. A dynamic progressive track with a classic guitar stacked riff and synth melodies that conjures a positive uplifting mood reminiscent of an early 2000s sound.


‘We Came In Peace’ is a definite signature piece for Kazuki, with an arpeggiated acid synth, iconic breakbeats and creative use of a space radio transmission sample.

​

Fourthstate’s ‘Floating Point’ exemplifies the spacious lush sounds of progressive house music, with dubby synth, vocal echos, and deep bass sounds creating a truly sonic experience.

​

‘Fuzzy Logic’ by producer Gabriel Gilmour evokes an earthy transcendental headspace with filtered vocals sounds, rhythmic percussion and a thick driving bassline that is set to raise the vibrations for listeners.
